You know ... the ones made out of exotic (yet beautiful in their own way) woods ... the ones that look like the fabulously finished coffee tables you see in the woodworking tent at the County Fair. You know ... all you have to do is add laigs ... with the inset threaded ferrules on the back for quick and easy installation of them laigs? Them basses ... you know the ones.

...and I serve espresso on it to my guests.

I have ordered legs for this one, and I am having a local luthier/cabinet maker put threaded inserts in the back for them. This one will be great for sushi!:)

I'm building one out of a closet core-door. Does that count as a "furniture bass?"

Macassar ebony, bubinga, wenge, pau amarello accents. You can see some of the padauk body in back.

This one shows the padauk a little better:

I think embellisher's coffee table in burl redwood and Bartolini's would be a perfect combination with my night table...:DSome of those Alembics could definitely work too :D

Thanks Jeff!! I wish I could post a better pic.
There are a couple of pics. on the Yahoo Fodera
    group web page.
The pics really don't do the bass any justice!!
