Show us your unlined fretless (please !!)

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by 5fretless, Jun 11, 2005.

  1. I got rid of my Warwick Streamer Standard fretless 5-string a while back - I miss it dearly. Please cheer me up with piccies of your beloved fretless bass.

I'm thinking of getting an all maple unlined fretless neck made for a Squire P-Bass Special 5-string that I have lying around. I just love that huge wide neck.......a couple of DiMarzio Ultra Jazz pickups and maybe a badass bridge an bam ! - should make for one mean fretless......

    Thanks in advance

I have a Squier P-Bass 5 string myself, and i love it! Great basses aren't they? I love the wide neck on mine, feels very natural :).

I think putting an all maple neck on your bass would be really awesome! I've been thinking about doing the same thing on my bass, but i got a different fretless instead, my Ibanez RD500F.

The floppy B string of my squier annoys me to death, and also the fact that the pickups magnetic field doesn't cover the B and the G.

    Anyway, good luck ;)

This isn't "my" Corvette Fretless, but close enough. My camera kept screwing up. I'd take a pic, preview it and come up stairs only to find out the file was corrupt. It's too hot to try a 3rd time :)
