    I`ve had serious GAS for the rics for a long time.Next big bass purchase will have to be a ric.Love the look,love the sound even more.Only get to play on them when I see the odd one in GC.

    Funkycarnivore,is that color autum glow?It`s super cool! :D

    The 4001 can only be strung w/ flats or....?

    i got it for ~$300 in '86. unfortunately, it's not for sale :D
     
  20. Ah, my goal is clear, Travel back in time to the mid 80's and buy a Rickenbacker bass for ~300 so I don't have to loby my parents to let me spend the $1000 they cost now adays :D (My mom maintains that its insane for any musical instrument to cost more then $300-$500.. *sigh*)
