Geez, I had hoped that I would have a scanner by the time the next thread like this would come along, but...:(

Anyway, mine looks like this, but it's an earlier incarnation, called No Sweat by Mr. Bassman.

Mr. Bassman is an old legendary bass shop in Germany, that used to be run by Bert Gerecht of BassTalk and HotWire fame. The bass was built by Siggi Jäger, who later started Human Base, and still builds this model.

  8. the problem with "what bass should i buy" threads is that many of them have no specific information, and are thus pointless. this thread is very specific. it says "show your basses." there's no confusion about it.

edit: dang, you guys have some BYOOTIFUL instruments!
  9. Did You or did you not have to read the part that said show your basses before you came to this post? If you don't want to see other peoples basses then don't click on the thread;)

Jerome, your sonic blue P-bass looks a lot like my Jazz V! I just have to ditch the aftermarket pickguard and go back to stock.
  12. Yeah, it really does! That bass actually began its life as a 96 American Standard P-Bass in black, but the guy I bought it from really wanted a sonic blue body, so he ordered a swamp ash body from Warmoth and attached the neck and hardware to it. I really like the colour--reminds me of that toothpaste. I also have a Carruthers in the same finish that has sonic blue block inlays!
