The thing i like most about Benavente basses is one Luthier can build an updated classic for James then build a modern monster for JoHans. Very Nice Guys, enjoy. :) :bassist:
  9. Wow! You've got those invisible strings I've been hearing about of late! :ninja:

The bass with the red binding is really unique, I dig!

I have one under construction. (some photos, may load a bit slow)
In short, it's a Vortex 6-string fretless with piezos and Roland GK interface. More details here.

I'm not sure where this thread would be without this bad boy. This is by far the most impressive looking bass guitar I've ever seen.

  18. That bass is intoxicating.....must.....look...away.....

What is the little symbol between the pickups on the pickguard?

When it came time to purchase my Benavente basses, Cris was able to
capture the Look but also the Sound that I desired. His prices were very fair and I did'nt have to pay fora company's rep.....I paid for the Bass of my Dreams. His basses are the pride of my collection. I think some of the young gun luthiers are the best in the business and are worth investing in.Cris make a INCREDIBLE BASS!!!!

Here's some samples of my basses that Cris made. It can sound like a
Bass , a Synth,, a Piano,a Trumpet ,a Lead or Rythem Guitar! I ask a lot from an instrument! Cris came through for me! Al Caldwell
