    show off your basses...that aren't so high end! SX, Squier, etc. anything that didn't cost a fortune!

    here's my Washburn XB100! runs about $229.

    Samick P-bass:rollno:, sold it for 75$. But I hated it, so I was happy just getting rid of it.

    Left - Johnson P bass That I bought from a friend for $30.(the fretbuzz is horrible)

    Right - Memphis P bass that the ups man that I worked with gave me for free that I fixed up like new $70 worth of parts.(as heavy as a truck)

  7. Wow...I thought I was the only one that got a Memphis P bass for free. Mine is currently being fixed by me though...one day it will work.

  11. I had the same one, but in black. I got mine w/ a 30w Randall practice amp, gigbag, tuner, and strap for $210 form Ebay. :bassist:

    I recently sold it (just the bass) to an a-hole guitarist I know for $200 :ninja:

    Thanks. It's shape is not good if I'm seated, but fine standing. It's solid maple, so it's a bit heavy, but solid feeling. Easy, skinny neck...medium action. The series/parallel switch is nice for more of a lead tone, versus a thuddy uprighty one. It sounds ridiculously good with flats...kind of Precision meets Rickenbacker, so it's at home playing Jamerson or McCartney.
