Carvin has been getting a lot of down play on this site, and I'm not sure why. They are beautifully crafted instruments that play even better than they look. Now I know some of you here have some very sexy carvins, so lets see them!

    Lets see those Carvin Basses!!!

    Here's my LB75F:
-Walnut Body with Maple Neck and Ebony Fretless Fingerboard
-Bartolini Pickups and 3 band Active EQ

That Icon is hot. How does it sound/play?
  13. It sounds great, both plucked and slapped! It plays very nicely too. I'm still fiddling with the setup. The steel strings I put on yesterday are a major improvement in feel over the nickel that came with the bass, less tension.

Check out this thread I started:

    I'm very happy with it!
