  1. I thought it was about time for this one. I just wish I had a better pic of mine. It's the best I can do with my ancient 1 megapixel camera. Oh well I know how good mine looks I want to see your's :p

If I weren't 9000 miles from my computer I'd put up another one of my fretless Claro 6er. I'm sure that if you searched under my user name you could find it!
I'll be back in the States in a couple weeks and if this thread is still up and running I'll post it again. Hope you find it...it's pretty sweet!
    Thanks.

I don't own it, but I dig it.

Looks identical to the one they just had in Bass Player. Really niche.

Peavey is making the Cirrus with a maple neck option now?

They did before (assuming you mean the fretboard). You just didn't see many.
You usually saw them with a Tiger Eye, as opposed to the normal Ebony board of the Tiger Eye models.
I've also seen them, on occasion, on the Gloss Figured Maple models.

Never knew that, thanks for the history.

I imagine a Cirrus with a maple board would be extremely bright.

I know this model is one the "standard" ones, but I like mine so much, that`s a good chance to show it.

Awww, man, they're *all* standard models (except for mine that's one the way, bwahaha!). That is the same configuration as my current one, except yours has a really nice flame top! My top isn't nearly as regular, though she plays pretty and that's what counts! But ummm, wanna trade? ;) :D

I should`ve been more specific. I meant "not so usual" models
(claro walnut, tigereye, wenge). I guess that Maple and Bubinga combos are more common.

If you wanna trade mine, for your custom, I`m all ears. :D

Doesn't the Cirrus come with two battery compartments? At least that one I tried out in a music store had two easy-to-open battery hatches.

Is it true that the Cirrus comes with originally mounted strap locks?

    Nice bass BTW...
