I'm currently want to switch to EBS from SWR, can anyone show me your EBS rigs?! Thanks!
No one here got their stuff?!! :scowl:
Heres my EBS TD650 rig. Well, kinda (I've since gotten rid of 2 of the Bag End cabs for a Bergantino HT322). EBS makes some killer stuff, if you got the cash I'd pull the trigger. Alot of tb'ers will say that it doesn't have enough watts to cut the mustard but I say fooey, this is one loud mutha!
it was a while ago but i bought an ebs combo off some dude in kowloon who had a load of them for sale in a warehouse at a real low price......great amps and my combo was so light and loud and full that it sort of defied all logic.
do a search for dealers in hk if you havent already found him by now!! you will not be disapointed with these amps. Thank the lord it wasnt tomlee or it would have been three times the price.
Yes, I did! man! I just ordered my Microbass II there! You are a TBer from Hong Kong as well?!
you and me...i think thats it.
Not really, there is another one active Tber from HK!
Ive got the EBS TD650 that goes through my ampeg BXT410, pumps great tone, when i get some decent pics ill post them up here
I currently use either a HD-350 or a TD-650. While I've got a few pairs of Bag End cabs, I just picked up a pair of EBS neo 112's! They sound GREAT with the EBS heads!
I've got to get pics yet, but I'll try to get them posted by tomorrow.
If you like a more modern, hi-fi tone - you'll be thrilled with the EBS stuff!
drome 12inch 150 watts (loud) with a warm tube emulation.
I did try that little thing too! sound really good with my Curbow!
i dont think your going to get a lot a response on this make because its probably financially out of range for a lot of the joe bass players out there ...but hey if its good enough for marcus miller!!
i find it reproduces the signal in a very strong and faithfull manner leaving you if you so wish to colour it up with effects as you so desire... needless to say it comes with great on board compressor.
i know this thread is kinda old but i wanna see some ebs rigs damnit!!!
Ok, ok, here you go...
I dont have a picture of my EBS rig yet, but its like this: Ebs Fafner, and to that I have the new Neo 4x10 and the Neo 2x12 speaker cabinetts, its a killer rig, the new Neo cabinetts are really good sounding.
I have the old EBS 410 and like it a lot. Have you AB-ed the old with the neos?
Some say that the neos is a little lighter in the bottom?
thank you very much lads
Vic i love that photo, it had me ing all over the keyboard
about the neos compared to the older cabs, i was chatting to thet uk importer at their booth last weekend at the london guitar show and he said "they are voiced a tiny bit higher in the lower mids" but you would only really notice it if you a/b'd them, he also said that they could be eq'd to sound juat like the older series cabs.
hey man i was thinking of checking out that cab combo, how do you think it compares to a 410 and a 115?
How it sounds? Very good !!!
