    Let's see em!!!!

Mine is a '99, pre production (or very early production) second gen (noted by still having 1st gen steel plate on back but with second gen 3+2 head stock and string thru body) L-2500 blue burst with optional flamed maple top!

    Nice bass!!!!!
Here's mine. It's a beat to hell '84 L-2000. Finish was stripped, Kahler has been removed and replaced with a standard G&L bridge. Currently wired passive and the pickups are wired series(I think)/single coil.

Thanks. This bass has been in my collection the longest (since mid 94) and I'll never sell it.

Well I can't resist a thread like this. My current 2:

SB-2, #6 neck, maybe ash body looking at the grain pattern. As with all SB-2s it's very lively, clear and throaty.

Climax, ash body, #6 neck. All growl all the time. I'm always on the lookout for more with #6 or #8 necks (1.5" wide at the nut) but the prices are climbing.

Glad to see it finally arrived, Fred... How do you like it?

I was playing a 1000 this past weekend and it was beat but very sweet!

I love it! Plays far better than any bass I've ever owned (even my American P). Cosmetically it's not quite what I hoped, but the playability more than makes up for it! Details here--> My 2500 Thread

Thanks again for your help Big Joe!
