I'm not sure if this has been done before, but I wanna see as many blueburst and greenburst basses as possible. Other weirdo colours like dragonburst are welcome too. :)

    Let's see 'em!

Wait until you see MM's newer greenburst Sad (he now has two, I believe). Both are stunning...

Very nice filter. :) Just out of interest how does the tone vary between L-2500's and Stingray 4's? Are they completely different or much the same?

    Hi ROON! :)

I know that the question wasn't for me, but as Filter seems to have logged off :D .....

I had a Tribute L-2000 (the 4 string), once. Of course, being me, it was black 'n' maple, not blueburst ;) .

Not to burst your balloon ROON, but I found it to be the most tonally frustrating "quality" bass that I've ever owned :( . I could get about one useful sound out of it, which was like a "poor mans' StingRay" kind of sound. Also, that sound was hard to find each time, as there were so many switching options, that if you changed anything, you could easily get "lost".

That was my experience, anyway, but I'm sure that you'll find 10 people who'll praise the (real ;) ) G&L's, to every one "moaner" like me :smug: .

Seeing as you already have a StingRay, I don't think that you'd be blown away by the Tribute bass :meh: . I bought one as a cheap way of getting the MM sound and then ended up buying an EBMM 'Ray to replace it.

    Just my $0.02 ;)

Now, back to the funny-coloured geetars :D .

 Alexander, that's without doubt the most perfect quilt maple top I've ever seen (even PRS can't match that :bag: ).

The consistent width of the "waves" and the (almost ;) ) spot on book-matching are just too much. That belongs in an art gallery, not on a workbench :D .

Can't wait to see the end product! :hyper:
