Wood coming from Larry of course ;). This bass is gonna be an Fretless 6 string hollowbody Plume Singlecut.

I know some Tbers have finished basses with Koa bodies and/or neck and it's time to show them off!!! :D

    Peace, JP

Here's a close up of my 10 year old LB76, which has Koa body wings. Lots of nice, interesting "figuring" and grain pattersn in the wood.

That Jazz is gorgeous! I had one that I made back in high school with a '75 Jazz bass maple neck and board. Then I had a Peter Elias 4-string fretless that I bought from Jazz great Dave Young. I haven't used any Koa in a while, but JP might just force me to with all these wood pictures!

Threads like these are what make TB great! :D

I don't have any to contribute, but here's a nice pic from the Rob Allen site. Koa is good stuff.
