Anything you got with a story or pic, even if it's not bass/music related. I used to have an autographed b/w pic of the original seven astronauts from when my dad worked for NASA. (yeah...way back then) Wish stupid youngster me had realized it's future worth. No clue what happened to it. Here's what I got for now: Autographs on CD covers from Bill Bruford, Bob James, and David Sanborn Also this neat Tarkus drum head signed by Carl Palmer. Picked this up at an ELP Legacy show last year in Buffalo.
His last concert in Denver was late summer 2018. I brought a black Fender guitar strap and a silver Sharpie. On the way into the venue, his bass player Sam Bolle was standing next to the reception desk chatting. I've met Sam a couple of times, and I asked him to sign the strap, which he did. The guy is a MONSTER bass player, as you had to be to keep up with Dick Dale. I asked Sam if Dick was signing, and he said "Get ahold of me after the show and I'll make sure he signs." So after the show I ran down to the backstage entry area; one of Dick's guys was watching the door and I said to him that Sam had told me to bring that strap down for Dick to sign. (Basically true.) He took it backstage, but came back out out and told me "Dick always signs TO someone. What's your name?" I told him, and he went back, and returned bearing the strap nicely signed "To Al, Dick Dale." That was Dick's last time in Denver. I really value that strap with Dick and Sam's signatures.
