Show Your Modded Essex!

    Hey everyone, I just thought id start a thread for all of the beautiful modded Essex basses. Weither you changed the pickguard or totally went wild with it, show it. Il start it off with both of mine! :D :hyper:

    •SX SJB-62 Fretless Jazz Bass.
    -Bartolini Pickups.
    -Hipshot A-Type Bridge.
    -Mirror Pickguard.
    -Chrome Knobs.
    -Bone Nut
    -Schaller Straplocks.
    -String-Thru The Body.
    -TI Jazz Flats.

    Still watin to put on the Mirror Pickguard, the Barts, and I also still have to make it String-Thru on this one.

    -DiMarzio Ultra Jazz Pickups.
    -Badass II Bridge.
    -Black Pickguard.
    -Black Knobs.
    -Hipshot 3 String Retainer.
    -Schaller Straplocks.

    Hopefully one day il be able to get all of my basses proffesionaly photographed. So thats both of mine, now post yours!!!

    I plan on making one ina few months, and if this thread turns into a megathread or something like that, or is still alive, I'll post it.

    Gotoh vintage reverse tuners black
    Gotoh high mass bridge for jazz bass Black
    Gotoh quick release strap locks black
    3-ply jazz pickhuard
    Vintage Jazz knobs black
    String tree black
    vintage wiring kit for jazz bass
    pickguard screws black
    neck plate black

    It's going to have a rosewood board, and I'm going to paint the headstock black, in other words, it's going to be a kick a$$ stealth bass. I'm gonna be spending about $500 for it, and I know it'll be worth it.
