I know this has been done before, but nearly all of the pics in the old P-Bass gallery are dead now, and it was a while since we had one. So here we go! Show us your P-basses!

    Here's mine:

Oh the timing, i just got mild P bass gas from that Fender thread. My P bass experience has been an Essex p bass that i modded and put flats on and got to sound great , but it played pooorly so i just sold it, although lately ive been craving a MIA P. Something about a P with flats.

Oh, shoot, I forgot! GAS! This thread will probably give me GAS really badly. Oh well, I've been dying to show off my P. I love that thing so much. There's on;y two things I need in my life: my P-Bass, and my girlfriend. ;)

It now has a white streak on the fingerboard right above the Pick up and E String from where my thumb rubbed the paint job off :p

Whoa, what kind of bass is that? Does it balance well? Doesn't seem like it would. :meh:

haha actually thanks to the weird shape, it balances pretty well. It is a Yamaha SBV 550 ( not offered in the USA. the only model in US is the J model )

I modded it to have a bartolini preamp boosting the stock ceramic pickups! sounds awesome!

I'm getting a Tort Pickguard for it soon and then it will be complete. I refinished it and got rid of the sunburst finish. The body wood is obviously not very good for a natural finish, but I prefer any natural wood to a paint job.
