My band and I just almost finished our premises..
We did a lot of crappy place such as our guitarist' s back house and our drummer garage... ( original isn't it ) ...
Now we have our Ultimate place... will post later when we ll clean it ;-) ...

we rehearse at a studio up in northeast philly

it comes out to only $15/person for the larger rooms we use, and that's for a 3 hour rehearsal

    I like it because:

    - we get a lot of room to move around
    - we can load in and out quickly because of the way things are set up
    - play as loud as we like without annoying anyone
    - the large rooms even have personal rest rooms

for only $15 a rehearsal, it's well worth it IMO

  4. Ours was £15 for four hours. That's £5 each $7.50. We don't have on suite bathrooms though, but it works. It'll probably go up now that we're practicing on Saturdays, when demand is high.

    wow that's a sweet deal

yeah, nothing is cheap up here in the northeast part of the country, especially in a city to boot

oh well, I'm thinking if we add one more piece to the band, at least we would get a $3 break :D

We´ve rented our rehersal premise for nearly 2 years now. It´s about 40m2 / 120sq.feet. The lowest height to the ceiling is about 3m / 9feet and the highest point is about 5m / 15feet. We rent it for about 400$ a month. We have access to bathroom facilities, even with a shower. And we can do just about anything we want with the place.

The rent may be a bit high but we don´t mind, this is our sacred place :)

We have already built a little studio attic. Here are some piccies....

The first two pictures are about 1 year old.

looks cool thou, we've got a one car garage with shipping blankets and egg crate foam on the walls and ceiling, and throw rugs on the floor. Works nicely
