Show your Self Customized Cabs

    I remember seeing a couple of cool avatar cabs a while back, one that a guy painted the grill silver and another with a blue wood background? Anyways, post any painted, refinned, wood finished, tucknroll, whatever cabs you've got. I'm interested in seeing what people have done.

    Wow...Tuner Avatars!!! :hyper: What will they think of next?

    The only thing that I did to most of the Avatar cabinets that I've owned is add a Speakon jack...(note to self: must get more creative...)
  5. It's hard to make a direct comparison because the changes were gradual and I've switched preamps a number of times in the process. Overall I can say the results were as predicted. Tighter sounding, more high mids and less clank and hiss than when the tweeter was in there.

    I would also like to mention that I stuff towels in the slot port of the B212 in the boomy rooms.
