Um, I've yet to see that much difference between Warwick Corvettes, but here's mine anyway.

    Umm....okay...thumb bass DOMINATES...yeah....

Of course, maybe you should take into consideration that this thread is about Warwick Corvettes. Guess the thread title was too complex, huh? :D

  12. Hey warwick lovers...I know this is a little off topic, but since I'll soon be a proud owner of a warwick corvette, I was wondering what each of you love about your warwick the most.

Defintately the tone. That wonderful growl that is the "Sound of Wood." The Playability is excellent, too.

I like the playabillity and the sound... it is a nice departure from my normal Fender-ish basses, but I have started to diversify the collection... the warwick fits in pretty nicely!

Mine? It's a very simple, organic (this is good) sounding fretless that I found at a very good price.

What Brand of strings are those???

I have never seen those Black Flat wounds before. HMMM, where would I be able to find em?

Also, hows the play on them? any difference in feel or sound?

  18. This thread should be closed! It's not helping my GAS or any one else's out there. OK, I'll stop whining now.

  19. I second that. ;)

Don't know what it is, but I like Corvettes more than any other Warwick, at any price point! This is me with my '96(Swamp Ash w/Emg pickups/Bqc preamp). I also have a '99 fretless in Bubinga! Make that triplets Diff and PMKelly!;)
