Shure SE535 and Sennheiser G3?

Discussion in 'Live Sound [BG]' started by Catalin, Apr 18, 2016.

  1. Hi guys!

I have an Sennheiser G3 wirelees that i am using for now with the stock IE4.
I am thinking to upgrade to SE535. I have one question: will the 36 ohms impedance be to high or it's low enough to get loud volume on stage?

    Cheers!

The IE4's are 16-Ohm, so the SE535's would require a little more drive to get the same vol levels, but should be fine!

  3. Ok. I was afraid that maybe the G3 receiver will not have enough power to drive these IEM's

I've run my Sony MDR7506 headphones of that body pack - no problem. They are 64-Ohm impedance.

  5. Thanks for the info. I just made the payment :D
