Can the SIB Fatdrive be used as a simple preamp into a poweramp?
I cant afford a real good preamp right now so Im looking at the SIB as it looks great and I think it would be useful (in the studio etc)when I do own a "real" basspreamp too.
Any thoughts, comments etc are welcomed!

I realize the Eq will be somewhat limited but I do like the DI-ed sound of my bass.

i have one, but i'm wary of using it straight into a power amp. its more an effects pedal. you can try emailing the guys there:

Why would you be wary? Is there any damage that could come from doing such a thing (i don't know much ab preamps)? or more of a "it will sound horrible" wariness? Thanks!
