    Why do you miss these days? Because people tend to forget all the horrible stuff in the past and only remember what brought them pleasure.

    Let's see, 1966: US starting to sink into the Vietnam War, black Americans treated as second-class citizens and being attacked by police for exercising their rights, gay people being arrest by the cops for being gay, the US and the USSR at each other's throats in a Cold War, Communism has half of Europe in lock down, China starts the Cultural Revolution that kills tens of millions of people, the University of Texas mass shooting.

    You might have been innocent (and 50+ years younger) but the times were not.
