Sight reading practice simple question

Discussion in 'General Instruction [BG]' started by liljawn, Oct 15, 2009.

  1. Hey, been working on my sight reading but on some of the sheet music I've been reading been running into a small problem.

I am not sure what note I need to play when I run across this.

    Eflat and Bflat also
I have been assuming witch is not a good thing to do that Eflat would be an F and a Bflat would be a C.

Can someone clarify... also wondering if a ran on a Csharp if that would be just a B.

    Thanks, John
  2. You have your sharps & flats reversed, but otherwise you are right. Cb = B, Fb = E, B# = C, E# = F.
  3. ****!!! ok makes sense now
