Signal chain question.

    I'm running a SansAmp RBI through an Hartke HA4000 as my back up rig.

    Are there any advantages to running the RBI in the pre EQ effects loop, the post EQ effects loop or in line through the front panel instrument input?

    They all sound the same to me but running through the effects loop defeats the volume on the amp to prevent clipping the amp I assume.

    Run it in front, you have complete control of everything. In the loop, you bypass your amps eq. Whichever works for you.
