Silver Sparkle Fender Precision

    Just out of curiousity; Has ther ever been made any silver sparkle p-basses? Wouldn't mind if anyone could post a link or some pics if there has.

  5. Melissa Auf der Maur played one when she was with Hole. Do an image search on google and I'm sure it will come up.

    My Squier 5-string P-bass is silver sparkle, all it took was some krylon spray paint ;)

    This is a bit obscure, and I'm going back a long way but in 1978 or '79 I saw the New Barbarians live. Ex-Fleetwood Mac guitarist Bob Welch and his band were the warmup act. I remember his bassist was using a silver sparkle P-Bass :cool: .

    I've also seen a video clip - I believe is was Warren Zevon playing "Werewolves of London", with John McVie playing a silver sparkle P-Bass.

    Could it have been the same exact bass?

    I've searched around without any luck, but I have not been able to find any. But thanks for the help, folks. And the Jazz was really nice.

    i think they exist cuz

    i know i saw silver sparkle jazz basses at local gc , in 2001.

    just happened to be googling for them myself and found this thread :)
    as well as this tele , note they mention having a strat as well...
    presume similar quality woods in the basses. IF you can even find one :)
