Does anyone have a picture of such a mythical bass guitar? I have searched the web and found nada.

I saw one like 5mins ago.

It was sparkle, in the FS classif. Not for sale, but in the background of another bass.

Thats pretty sick. I was hoping for something more like the Les Paul Studios, but I do like the sparkle on that one.
  5. More like this?

Fender used the silverburst color on J's & p's for a while back in the day - I almost got one, but decided on a blueburst instead... The "Fender" effect was a bit more subtle - more of a fade than the hard black to silver thing...

  8. Not really silver burst, just transparent black.

Man those are beautiful, thanks everyone. I saw what I needed to see.
  10. That's Marty Bell. I have two of his refins. He can do anything you can possibly imagine, sparkle, metallic, candy, non-burst, burst...
  11. RJ-IV is the closest to a Les Paul Custom
