Simplified pickup wiring for BC Rich Mockingbird Bass

Need a wiring diagram for a basic 2 P-Bass, 2 volume, 1 tone, 1 three way switch setup. I have plans for the empty holes from og BC Rich wiring so don't mind those.

I have two new SPB-3 pickups, two CTS-A500-MM pots and a CTS-B500-MM pot for tone, and a 3-way switch.

The diagrams I've seen for humbucker style pickups all have 4 wires coming from the humbucker where the SPB-3 has just two (black and white)

Help appreciated

Just found this, looks like it should work. Not sure what capacitor I should use against the tone pot.

That wiring will work. I’m sure you’re aware your pickup wire colors probably won’t match the diagram but use the same colors from the pickups for hot and ground and you should be good to go.

The default or “traditional” capacitor value for a passive bass tone control is .047uf. I’ve seen anything from 0.022uf to 0.1uf. There’s a number of factors that contribute to what the tone control does besides the capacitor value and they all change how your system will interact with the tone control. In fact there’s a how tone controls work sticky at the top of this forum that is a good read on the subject. As far as actual values, for bass I tend to stick with 0.033uf or 0.047uf. The good thing is capacitors are cheap and you can experiment with different ones pretty easily. Just alligator clip different value ones into the circuit. Since you have extra holes why not a switch that lets you select 2 different caps or even a varitone?
