Hey, I am the Lead singer and bassist for a band i started called 67 Blood Stones, and I am the co-singer and the bassist for my main band, Atricide.

Ive been trying to figure out the perfect bass for my needs. And I need help. Anyone that can help, i thank you alot!

    Requirements:
    1)price range between 200-400
    2) 4 string ( i already have a 5 string, but i want a 4 string because of the new status as singer)
    3) cool, awesome, and hott as hell looking
    4) great sound, can get a low crunchy sound, distorted sound, but still get a low clean sound
    5) light weight
    6) easyto play and sing at the same time

thats really all i can think of that i need in a bass. I've been looking and have found a couple basses, but only one of them has come close to getting me to yell F**K!!! I GOTTA HAVE IT! but it diddnt exactly make me do that.

    can anyone help me!!!!!?????

Ibanez makes a lot of basses in that price range that fit those requirements. All except #3, however; that's going to be totally up to you. I think that Jazz basses are sexy; you may not. But Ibanez is a good starting place. What bass was the one you almost bought?

    Couple things:

    1. Define cool, awesome, and hot as hell looking. What does this mean to you?
    2. What type of music do your bands play?
    3. What type of player are you?
