I don't know if this should be in basses or pickups, but I have a question concerning the electonics on my Ibanez GSR200. I have it wired so that only the jazz pickup works. I unhooked the P-pup when it stopped working. I stil have the wiring for the other vol. pot and the tone pot hooked up, but I want to have single vol. pot.

My question is, if I take out the tone pot, will I still get the sound of the pickup with the tone knob all the way up? I don't want to unhook it if not. I'm pretty sure that tone knobs only cut some of the frequencies when you turn the down, so I figured that the knob all the way up = full-on pickup tone. But I'm not sure.

    Help? :help:
