    This bass is basically brand new and still has the plastic on the pick-guard! It set up great and sounds KILLER! These are $699 brand new and take a couple months to get, but you can get yours now and know that it sets up, plays, and sounds great. I have my eye on a 4-string that I want to purchase so time to thin the herd. Price is firm, no lowballers.

    I appreciate the offer but I am not looking to trade at this time.

    The one exception might be a Fender Elite 5-String J-Bass.

    I wish I had the need for a 5er... Great basses, SO UNDERRATED! Preamps are so useful and NOT junk! I obtained an "unused" neck for a V7, with the small frets, and let me tell ya, best neck I've had next to a CS Fender. (still amazed I found that neck. It came free with purchase of a V7 and I don't know why).
    Slim contour neck for comfort. GLWTS, this should be sold already if only ppl knew...

    (Oh, btw, I just ordered a Custom Dinky Jazz body from Warmoth and can't wait to get my Sire neck on it! Slight modification, but it fits Warmoth bodies like a glove.)

    Please post pics when you get it all put together! This Sire bass is ridiculous...and even more so at this price point. Swamp ash body...it sounds amazing, and the neck is like butter.

    I don’t have a scale...but if I had to guess...I would say no more than 9.5lbs

    No idea why this is still here. These are fantastic basses. I've got a V7 and P7 and they keep up with my boutiques.

    One of the best basses at this price point. I have 3 Sire's, well HAD 3. Instead I sold my soul and bought an MTD.

    You should have seen the look on the dudes face when he plugged it in a played it...priceless!

    He handed me $600 cash real quick...no haggle whatsoever.

    That guy scored an incredible bass...and I’m glad it found a good home because this cat could play!
