    I tried a set of Rock Brights that I got from Ebay. They were similar to Ernie Ball Slinkys, but not as bright. Since I got them from an Ebay seller, I don't know how fresh they were or anything like that. I may try their nickel taperwounds one of these days.

    I don't like the feel much but they sound OK. I used Rock Brights on a G&L L2500 that I got rid of for a while. Jack Bruce endorses them and uses them on his Warwick fretless.

    what didn't you like about their feel? How well do they cut through?

    I dunno, they felt kinda rough to me. They sounded fine and cut through OK.
