size of strings/size of speakers?

Should the size of strings you use help determine the size of your speakers?
    For example,i use 40-95.
    So should i use a 115 with say a 210?
Or would a 410 provide enough bottom?

Does anyone use light-gauge strings and play through a 410?
Does it have enough bottom end?
    What cab do you use?

string gauge has nothing to do with speaker size.

An E is an E, no matter which strings you use.

Also speaker size has not too much to do with low end response. A properly designed 410 will go lower than a poor 115. It's just a question of which sound you prefer.
But yes, with 'anything else being equal' a 15 has more bottom than a 10.

    Cabs are systems!
Meaning that the same speakers in different cabs will sound different. Thus, a 1x10 may go lower than a 1x18...

You'll have to do some listening. But I would also recommend that you don't bother too much with listenign to cabs that are rated less low than your lowest strings fundamental frequency @-3dB.
