SKB Bass Safe and Double Bags (Or two single bags)

Hi, I need a solution for bringing two basses on a plane and would rather use a SKB Bass Safe than the often recommended SKB Golf cases.

Does anybody have first hand experience using a double bag carrying two basses in an SKB Bass Safe?

So far I read about Mooradian and Gator double bags that fit into the Bass Safe. Does anyone have more suggestions?

I would also like to know if the protection the Bass Safe offers significantly decreases when carrying two basses in it. And how about two single bags?
