Got this in trade a while back. I absolutely love this bass. I just don't love a 35" scale. So. Only trades I'm into would be for a Sadowsky NYC or an Alleva Coppolo, maybe a Smith or Pedulla. Only 5s, only 34"s. Would rather sell outright. Shipping is on you, no PayPal.

I was the first owner of this bass - commissioned it from Pete Skjold himself. This bass is just exquisite! It plays itself! I sold it because I just prefer the sound of maple fingerboards, otherwise I probably would still own it.

If you're wondering about Skjold basses, wonder no further. This bass is totally worth the price! Just amazing!

    GLWTS!!

Wow, my absolute favorite non-Dingwall bass. If looks could kill I'd be dead.

Wow, surprised nobody has jumped on this. I know the market is what it is. I know this bass books at over $5500. I know it sold new for less. I know my price is a good deal. A sign of the times I guess. Maybe I'll pull it down and hold onto it.

Must be a weird time for the TB classifieds. I had the same feeling recently. I figured tax return season was good timing, but its pretty fickle on here. GLWTS, this is undoubtably a great bass! Pete's work is second to none.
