For months I've been seeing this video touted here on TB; and yet I've searched Amazon, EBay, Musician's Friend and other sites and can't find it anywhere. Local music stores don't have it either. Anyone know where I can pick up this video? I want to start really focusing on slap techniques, and this video seems to keep popping up as one to get...thanks

He used to advertise the video in Bass Player magazine, not a full page ad. It was one of those small ads at the side of a page. I don't know if he still does advertise it, though. You could check a recent issue.

I own The Slap Bass Program with Alexis Sklarevski, and Fingerstyle Funk with Francis Rocco Prestia. I think both are great instructional videos. (Video Progressions also has a 3rd bass video called The Art of Tapping, which I have not seen).

Click below for Info. and ordering at the Video Progressions site.

Thanks, Slater & Jason - the website's a big help. Surprised they don't distribute it through other retail venues? Looks expensive, but from what I'm hearing about this tape, it's probably worth it...

I was just getting ready to go the Guitar Center - thanks for the save!:p

  8. De nada, Joe. I don't know what GC wants for it. But with Elderly, you can tell them to send the catalogs, too, and look at all the gear you used to own!

Man, no kidding!! Just checking out their site was like a walk down memory lane! And the prices are pretty decent as well.

BTW, GC wanted the list $49.95 for the video. Not bad but, I just hate giving those eightballs any of my money for anything.

Hey, I just clicked on that ELDERLY.com link and found something I might want to purchase... Here's the link: WORKING BASS

What do you think? It's $18.95. I would love to become a traveling bass player... Just work for myself...like a traveling salesman would.
