    Thanks LM!!!

It's true.....I've had great success doing video chat lessons!!

I use google video chat for most folks....iChat works great for Mac users too!

I have a forum here in the ask a pro section.....feel free to ask me any questions you'd like over there.
  2. I teach SKYPE lessons. Every wednesday at 4 pm my student in Kansas City calls me up and we have our lesson. We started lessons in person over a year ago but then I came down here to North Texas to work on my Masters Degree in Jazz Studies. We thought we would give SKYPE a try. We did and we are still going strong. Yes, sometimes the connection gets funky. His video feed will slow wayyyy down so I can't see him doing things in real time but we manage. From reading this entire section of posts, I may try try iChat or some of the other video methods the other teachers are doing. Anyway, it is working for me as a teacher and for him as a student. Great Thread! Thanks!!
