slapping

    hey,
    do you know any good slap pieces that i can learn because i just got into slapping and i want to know some good stuff to play thanks
     
  2. "Aeroplane" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers is really easy. Octave patterns over two chords.

    "Peg" by Steely Dan is a good one. Kind of challenging... Make that very challenging (at least for me:oops:), particularly the fast fingerstyle stuff at the end of the verses.... But it's damn rewarding to learn.

    I think you posted in the wrong forum.... I would buy a decent video and learn from it if I were you. there are some cool things on some of those videos.... there have been threads on good and bad videos.. try a search and see what you come up with

    IMO, the best slap solo ever was by Louis 'Thunder Thumbs' Johnson in the Brothers Johnson's "Stomp" (1980).
