I recently bought a slider strap from MF, and I'm not pleased with it. I figured maybe you all would have some suggestions for me.

The strap is too long for me. Plus, I can't seem to get the neck at around a 45 degree angle. The neck seems to want to lay horizontal to the floor. Any suggestions?

    Welcome to Talkbass.

This thread isn't bass related, so I am moving it off to Misc.

I think you should get a regular strap. If you are having shoulder problems, try a 3" wide strap. Padded ones help too.

I had the same experience. I have not been able to figure out how to get a useful playing position with a slider strap. The things might help your back, but they'll give you CTS in the meantime.

My main bass is pretty heavy, and so far what I like best is the 3" soft leather strap that came with it.
