Slim width jazz bass pickup covers?

I'm trying to replace the bridge pickup cover, and it always seems to be a mm or two too wide at the sides, it's going in an old CN6 serial squier jazz, and the seymour duncan cover I had to shave off the excess with sanding paper, but the new holeless covers I got would never be able to be sanded, I'd have to shave the body. Does anyone sell holeless covers that are just slim enough to get into a 1996 CN squier jazz bass?
