SM900 with a Trace Elliot?

    I found a trace elliot like this onehere but a little newer and nicer at a local store. It's an 8ohm and handles 300 watts. Will this be able to work with a Goliath III and SM900?

    what is the impedance of that Goliath? They make 4 and 8 ohm versions...

  4. Should work fine, I had one of those for a few years b4 i decided to downsize my rig. The Speaker itself is quite tight for a 15", plenty of bottom end poke too and its not mega heavy either...

    Try out an Ampeg SVT115HLF. Surprisingly tight, accurate with plenty of low end thump. It moves so much more air than I expected. Tried it out on the SVT3. They can take 300-600Wrms.
