Small Cab or a combo

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by lewibassist, Jul 2, 2004.

  1. Hiya i dont if i should buy a small cab or a combo for the smaller gigs. I have a warwick profet IV head . But i have a warwick 4x10 i allways find it hard to transport this rig to gigs. Most of the gigs its not even necessary . I was thinking of either a combo or a 1x12 or a 2x10 cab . I was thinking about the aguilar 1x12 , would they be ok to use with my head ?. I will probibaly want to spend around £500 in us thats around $900. All sugestions greatly appreciated.

Do you like the sound of the Warwick profet IV head? If so, I would try out some of the lightweight 1x12 cabs. For example, an EA CLX-112 should handle small gigs fine and would have no problems with the Warwick head.
