I'd like to get everyones opinion/experience on the lightest cab around that can make a DB112 lover like me happy.

I'd prefer if you only recommend single-speaker cabs, that are lighter, smaller and comparable in price to the Aguilar.

I adore the DB112s warm extended bass, mid punch and organic highs (IMO) but the size and weight are a little too much.

Any other cab get close or have a similar sound????

I play pop and rock gigs, play onl ypassive basses, own a DB750, DB112, DB410 and jus tordered a TC Classic450.
I'm selling my 410 because it's too heavy for me right now and I will either shut up about the DB112s weight and get another one,
or sell it and get a pair of similar cabs.

Those TC RS210 and RS112 are catching my eye, but I'd love ot hear you opinions.

    Thanks in advance!:bassist:

where did you get that price????
Can you elaborate on the sound and how it compares to the DB112 if you can?

    Thanks!

Might check out the Genz Benz Neox112t. I haven't played the Aggie, but some of us describe the Neox112t as being more like the best 115 cab we've ever played. Sorry I can't give a direct comparison, but if you have the chance to try one out, it might be worth your time.

    Cheers,
    Liam

I used to have Eminence DeltaLite 2512 II speakers in my Aguilar GS112s.
It made the cab a lot lighter and tightened the mid scoop.
Roughly compared to a db112, they had bit more treble

Im still waiting on my TC Classic450.
I'll try it out with my DB112 and see what I think.

    have you tried the db210?

sure, its a good 14lbs heavier, but thanks to its integrated handles, its MUCH easier to carry.

and while it has that aggressive aguilar db kick, frankly, its also a touch more of a balanced sound than the db112, which is just too flippin' much for my ears.

I actually have, but I have a DB410 and I prefer the DB112s tone by a fairly large margin.

    Thanks for the input.

    My Classic450 should arrive soon.
I'll try it out with the DB112 and see how I like it.
A pair of TC RS112s are still looking pretty tempting.
The 30lb weight and small footprint is a very nice proposition.
