Discussion in 'Recordings [BG]' started by AllodoX, Sep 22, 2001.

  1. Hahaha.. cool

    I got a load of mp3's by a band called " Alien ant-farm ", there was punk/metal-cover of Michael Jackson's " smooth criminal ", it's so cool :D
  2. That song is pretty old, a few months anyway, it's been on the radio for a long time... but it's a fun bass line.
  3. glad to see you came out of the cave on mars where you've obviously been hiding for a couple months. ;)

It was funny. Then it was overplayed.

Believe it or not, I actually don't have enough fingerstyle skill to be able to play that song. I use mostly pick. It made me very distressed when I tried to play that song and failed. :(
  7. to me that song will probably never get old. its so cool. That riff is so darn catchy and cool i cant help but rock my head back and forth.
  8. It makes me happy :D one of the few songs I turn up when I am driving all day at work.

I have seen the video a few times and if I recall correctly he was finger-slapping it, which is something that I really suck at.

At the place I worked this summer, we would leave one radio station on all day, and consequently I would hear that song at least three times. It was great in the beginning of the summer, but then the novelty kinda wore off. It's a shame, too, because I really like that song, but now... it's merely mediocre.
  12. I still liked it. the radio station played it for about 2 months A LOT! pulled it for a month, and then put it back on some you don't repitly hear it!

he slaps one of the riffs he plays, but he plays the other riffs with fingers

    the riff he slaps goes

    F,F F C, F F C, F F G G F
  14. I liked the song at the beginning of the summer, but then it got so irratating. The video is funny though.

Thanks for putting me in your signature, JR. ;)

I like the song, and I actually prefer their version to Michael Jackson, but I don't like it how people become famous off someone else's song. It just doesn't seem right to me.

If a few months is pretty old, the music I listen to is ANCIENT.
