It also features a young Phyllis Diller and a fair amount of skin for 1930.

  2. I’m not sure about anyone else, but I find being asked to watch a horrible movie, exactly like being asked, “Hey, taste this milk. I think it’s sour,” or “Hey, sit on this chair. I think there’s a nail in the cushion.”

Apparently you aren’t familiar with Mystery Science Theater, the Comet Channel, and Svengoolie. Life has not been lived until one has seen “Manos, the Hand of Fate”.

The difference is bad movies can be unintentionally funny.

Like anything else, if you aren’t interested, move on to something you like.

Here's another one worthy of mention (from 1936) that would be even funnier in that way... if only its misinformation didn't contribute to propagating outright racism, as well as helping sway public opinions of the time, which ultimately lead millions of our citizens into jails. Scary, indeed :nailbiting:

There were a number of years when I was single and my son and I had a tradition of watching bad sci-fi movies on New Year's Eve, stuff like Matango Fungus of Horror, The Crawling Hand, etc. Great fun. Our band was hoping to gig this NYE but our drummer will be out of the country, so we might resurrect the tradition. Oh, and it has to be accompanied by lousy junk food.

The Comet Channel is a treasure trove of this kind of movie.

Freaks is considered to be a great movie by critics, but too intense by the standards of its time.

Now that movie is truly in the category of being so bad it’s funny. Some say it’s the worst movie ever.
