Walked in with my old amp, didn't like what they offered me for it, so I sold it to another guy standing there looking at amps. Anybody else ever do this? Go in to sell a piece of gear to them and instead sell it to a prospective customer of theirs? Is this legal? It was pretty good luck I guess....hey the guy I sold it to bought a bass too ok? They still got some business from him. :smug:

A friend of mine did the exact same thing at a Honda Dealer. They were pretty upset till he bought a car.

I never see that guy when I am in there trying to sell or trade my gear. I even stand around waiting for a chance.
