My first good bass (Ibanez Soundgear 1000E) was made in 90/91. Still has the good Gotoh 3D bridge, not the Ibanez bridge.

My main bass (Mr. Bassman No Sweat (pre-Human Base model)) is from the late 80s/early 90s, bought used around 95.

My Hohner fretless is from the 90s, bought used in 97 or so.

My Fenix Jazz 5 is from the late 90s also.

Here's a quote from the email I got from Mike Tobias about my Tobias Classic V #1274 :

"The bass was built towards the end of 1990 and is on the first year of Tobias being owned by Gibson, however, it was NOT built in Nashville and WAS built my original crew. You got a good one Enjoy it!"

I bought mine new in 1995. I guess that makes it about 7-years-old.

    Do basses eat birthday cake?

    I have a '72 Telecaster Bass, a '74 EB-4 and a '99 Jazz Bass.
  16. Mine vary a bit but my main basses are my G&Ls and all 3 are late '90's instruments. My Peavey Axcellerator is '90's. My Godin may be a 1999 or very early 2000, while my Gibsons are both '70's basses.
