So I am playing my son's Steinberger...

    I got him an '87 pre-gibson xp4. He's 7 and only plays it whe ni force him to have a lesson.

    Man, this bass sounds good. I am really surprised at the sonic pallette that you can coax out of this boat oar. Beefy sub tones and a nice jaco-eey growl.

    that's all.

    Rarrrr....I wish my parents bought me a steinberger when I was 7.

    That's kinda like my parents getting me a VW Golf and then having my Dad asking me "Hey, I need to go to the store, can I borrow your car?" all the time.

    DZ, sounds like you need one for yourself! :D I always liked the sound of Seinbergers, too bad their look is so passe right now.

    need one for myself ? i do have to ask before i use it...which is not terribly often.
