I recently did a gig with, of all people, "Bill Halley's Comets" and their bass player was playing through two single 12 Bergantino cabinets, using a gallien kreuger preamp and a 1400 watt crown power amp.I didn't ask him the model number of the speakers, but I was VERY impressed.I can see why so many people on this forum rave about the speakers, they kicked some major bootie. He told me that they needed alot of power to push them properly, but I don't know that a speaker could have sounded much better than these two did.

Mine do the 'whoopa$$' thing real good with my Walter Woods Ultra.... also with a Crest CA9 and Demeter pre201s.

yeah they are great. honestly, today with all of the smaller options we have (berg, ea, epi, bag end, etc, etc), i dont think i'll ever go back to larger cabs. 2 small cabs and a lightweight yet powerful head or poweramp is all i need. :D
