    The question is rather vague. They are completely different types of bass. What budget, types of music you play, do you prefer active or passive, is weight important, neck shape....

    Yes, two very different basses.
    Which makes me suggest the old "Get out there and try as many basses as possible" line.
    Maybe you'll be lucky and find one of these.
    I think it will cover all the basses for you.
    Best P pickup made and a great MM style one.
    Price is right, too.
