    Firstly...

    1) Which Bass?

    •Fender American professional jazz bass.

    Or

    •Fender American elite jazz bass.

    Then...

    2) Which Amplifier?

    •Fender Rumble 500.

    Or

    •Fender Rumble stage 800

    Or

    •Gallien Krueger MB200.

    Or

    •Gallien Krueger MB210

The choice is yours, but can only be out of these it is which Bass and which Amp would you buy and why?

  2. 1. Fender American Pro (just my personal preference for passive; both are fine instruments)

    2. One of the Rumbles (and that all depends upon your specific needs)

Of the choices, Elite and Rumble 500. The Elite is active and is closest to what I know and love. I own the 500 and would buy it again without hesitation. I’m sure the others on your list are just fine though. Besides, if you go with GK, you’ll have to change your name and then there’s a chance you could confuse your fans.

Yes this is my choice exactly! I already have an active bass and it’s nice, and I like the fact I can boost frequencies... but then at the same time I can do that on my amp anyway, no biggy.

I find passive basses much more my style. Plug in and play. Volume and gain is easier to handle too, no unwanted distortion at higher volumes. No need for swapping batteries.

I find the rumbles are better with passive intruments anyway. If I went with the elite, then I would pick the gallien krueger cos of its active switch at the input.

    Thanks for ur input
