It seems that the web, well some Twitter users, believe that Kanye West is giving is giving Sir Paul a "helping hand" in his career......well it just reminds us that in life, as in music, something is new to somebody every single day. Google the two names and enjoy what you find..here is one link; http://tvnz.co.nz/entertainment-news/kanye-west-shining-light-unknown-artist-paul-mccartney-6214075
Kayne is the equivalent of having a perpetual case of flatulence while getting too close to an open flame.
I remember when one of my grad students, a self-styled Jazz afficianado, came into my office to tell me about this great new bass player she'd discovered: yup, Ray Brown.
I though he was the guy married to that fat girl who thinks we all want to see her naked. As for the OP: he's nobody of consequence; just a has-been from the 60s.
Well, Sir Paul got a career boast when he did, The Girl Is Mine with Michael Jackson...........right? A little Ebony and Ivory with Stevie Wonder. Might as well do it again with Kanye West! Ain't nothing wrong with "selling out"! You know, I have strong mixed feelings about McCartney!
Ahhh...Kanye West... So many things I could say about him but I would probly get banned from here if I voiced my opinions about him.
Even though Kanye West has done some very interesting work in his surprisingly long career, it is Paul McCartney who is slumming in this collaboration—without question. I just hope the end result is worth everybody's time, especially the public's, because you know they're going to promote the shiggity out of whatever comes from it. Youth is definitely wasted on the young.
He was part of one of the greatest songwriting duos of all time. I like Kanye he's talented and his self promotion techniques help keep him relevant he's a character for sure. Music is generational when I was young most of the kids didn't know who Tommy Dorsey or Duke Ellington were? and at this point in his life Sir Paul can do whatever he likes and when he passes he'll get more coverage than anyone since Elvis.
I think it's the other way around. McCartney giving Kanye a boost. I don't see the problem with it, why not? It's bound to make a lot of money from two demographics and maybe bring them closer together. Anyone who doesn't know who McCartney is though, they're just stupid. Outright clueless.
and the best part of his thinking was that he thought Ray Brown is something 'NEW' I bet Mr. Brown would get a kick out of that!
In my opinion, if you don't know you're better off and are living a good life Consider yourself 'blessed'.
